Wedding-Day IV in Miami: When to Schedule It Around Hair and Makeup

If you want an IV on your wedding day in Miami, the timing matters less than people think. There is no clinical reason it has to happen before hair and makeup versus during it. We can set up while you are in the chair as long as one arm is free, and the drip runs in the background without interrupting much. So the real question is not what time is correct, it is what you want the IV to do for you and which drip fits that. Here is how I walk brides through it.

Before, during, or the night before?
All three are reasonable. It comes down to your schedule and your goal, not a rule. If you are getting an anti-stress drip because the nerves are the main thing, the night before can be the better call so you sleep well going into the day. If you want to feel fresh walking into the morning, the day of works just as well. We can also come right as hair and makeup starts and run the drip while you sit, since all we need is an exposed arm. Our nurses work around your timeline, not the other way around.
One thing I gently push back on: brides sometimes want to line up a whole series of IVs in the days right before the wedding. There is a limit to how much we will do in a single week, and more is not better here. The instinct usually comes from stress, from wanting any bit of control and comfort in a hectic stretch, which I understand completely. But take it slow. A sensible drip or two beats stacking five.
What a wedding party or bridal suite actually looks like
Yes, we do whole parties. We have run large bachelorette groups and full bridal suites, and logistically it is straightforward. We set a window of time when we will be there, and we send as many nurses as the group needs. We have sent six nurses to a single event before. Each nurse comfortably runs about two people at a time, so we start people in waves and work through everyone inside the window without anyone feeling rushed. If you are planning a group, the event IV side is built for exactly this.
The room matters less than you would guess. As long as people can sit comfortably and there is space for the nurses to move, a hotel suite or a getting-ready room works fine.
Which drips I steer wedding clients toward, and which to skip
The big rule: your wedding morning is not the day to try a heavy specialty infusion for the first time. A few specifics from experience.
Skip NAD on the day. It runs long, and you almost certainly do not have the time. If you want NAD-style benefits and you are not planning months ahead, a Niagen drip is the quicker stand-in.
Be careful with biotin if you break out easily. It is good for skin and hair, but for some people it can trigger an initial breakout, which is the last thing you want timed to the wedding.
Do not debut an iron IV or a high-dose vitamin C infusion for the first time on the wedding morning. First-time specialty infusions belong on a normal week, not the biggest day.
A super immune boost is fine, since it sits at a lower dose than the high-dose infusions.
If you are tight on time, keep it quick and proven. A Myers cocktail or an anti-stress drip is efficient and predictable.
If the goal is mostly the glow and hydration, the beauty and skin drip is the one most brides have in mind, and it is a much safer pick for the day than anything you have never tried before. As always with any specialty drip, your clinical team can tell you what actually fits you.
Booking it for your day
Tell us the getting-ready window and how many people are in, and we will build the timing and staffing around it. Whether it is just you in the makeup chair or the whole bridal suite, you can book a wedding-day IV and we will fit ourselves into your morning instead of pulling you out of it.
