Family in Town for Thanksgiving: Can Everyone Get an IV?
Updated: Oct 8
Yes. The whole family can book IVs at Thanksgiving, everyone 18 and over, and Key Basis IV does groups like this all the time. One nurse can easily look after three or four people, and we can send more nurses when the timing is tight. With a membership, the family and friends who book with you at your home get member pricing: 50% off every IV.

How does the whole family get IVs at Thanksgiving?
Usually, it starts with one of our members in Miami or Broward. They let us know they have family coming to visit, and all of their family members get 50% off as an extension of them. We do that every year for a bunch of different families in South Florida.
Their guests always love it. They think it's a great gift and an awesome way to start the weekend or cap it off. It really helps everyone feel better.
It also makes the whole event feel special. We hear things like, "Oh wow, we got IVs and we have nurses here. You're taking real good care of us."
If family is coming to your house this year, text us the head count at 305-998-0047 and we'll send the right number of nurses.
How many nurses come for a family group?
It depends on your head count and your time frame. One nurse can easily handle three or four people. If eleven people all want their IVs within about an hour and ten minutes, we'd send four or five nurses; spread over four hours, two nurses cover the same eleven. Every nurse who comes is a registered nurse from our own team.
We do groups and send multiple nurses all the time: bachelorette and bachelor parties, offices and corporate events, sports teams and all kinds of other things. A family at Thanksgiving works the same way.
Do your Thanksgiving guests get member pricing?
Yes, when you're a member and they book with you. If you're paying for your guests and they're at your home, they get member pricing. So all the family and friends you have over for Thanksgiving are eligible for that pricing, as long as they're booking there, at that moment, with you.
Your household is your direct family unit, for example the two spouses and their children. One membership covers the whole household, and everyone in it pays the member price, even when they book on their own. Kids who are 18 or over can get an IV too; here's how old you have to be to get an IV drip.
The membership is $80 a month with no sign up fee, and members get 50% off every IV. On the drip menu, member pricing takes the Saline Hydration IV from $199 to $100, the Hangover IV from $249 to $125 and the Myers Cocktail IV from $319 to $160.
Four Myers Cocktail IVs, one a week for you or one each for four adults in the family, cost $1,276 at full price. With the membership, the same four cost $720, including the $80 monthly fee. For members, we also cover the nurse's parking or valet. If you're hosting this year and aren't a member yet, you can get 50% off by joining the membership before the family arrives, and so can the guests who book with you at your home.
How far ahead should you book for Thanksgiving week?
Book a week or two ahead. That's what our families usually do. Give us at least a few days.
In 2026, Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26. It's a very busy time, so we can't guarantee a huge group the day before or the day of. Once you've picked your day, book online or text us the head count at 305-998-0047.
What should the host know about the head count?
Get your head count as solid as you can, and decide on the time frame you want. If things change one way or another, we can always roll with it, and it's not a huge problem. Just try to get the number as accurate as possible. Make sure people are prepared and ready when the nurses arrive.
If someone drops out, groups of two or more need 8 hours' notice to cancel.
One more thing to plan time for: each guest has a $39 telehealth exam at their first appointment of the calendar year. The nurse sets up the device, and it's about a five minute call with an off site nurse practitioner.
