What a NAD+ IV Does Not Do
This section exists because the NAD+ category is full of claims that nobody can support, and we would rather you read the limits here than find them out later.
A NAD+ infusion is not a treatment for any diagnosed condition. It is not addiction treatment and we do not manage withdrawal. It is not a treatment for dementia, memory loss or any neurological disease. It is not a weight loss service. It does not reverse aging, and no infusion of anything does.
We do not run bloodwork and we do not measure your NAD+ levels before or after, so nobody here can tell you what your levels did. Our nurses do not diagnose and this appointment is not a substitute for care from your own physician.
It is also not a substitute for sleep, food or hydration, and if you have not slept in two days a long infusion is not the thing that fixes that.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you are under a physician's care for anything at all, say so on the screening call. The nurse practitioner decides whether a NAD+ IV is appropriate before anything is booked, and sometimes the answer is no.
How a NAD+ IV Appointment Works
1. Book.
Pick a time and tell us where you will be. Home, hotel, office or boat are all normal. Nothing is due at booking. Tell us anything relevant while you are there, including medical conditions, medications and allergies, and if you are in a building with a doorman or a gate, add the entry details so the nurse can reach you without calling up from the lobby. Same day appointments are usually available. Cancellations need 4 hours of notice, and groups of two or more need 8.
2. Your telehealth exam, once a calendar year.
Before your first drip of the year, a nurse practitioner reviews and approves it on a short telehealth call, about 5 minutes. You may see it called a good faith exam. It is the step that makes this a clinical service rather than a delivery, and it is the same call whichever drip you book. It happens at the start of your appointment. It is a separate $39 charge, once per calendar year rather than every time you book, and members do not pay it. If you have already had it this year, you skip this step.
3. Your appointment.
The nurse arrives with everything in a case. They check your blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation before anything is placed, go through your history with you, and answer whatever you want to ask. Then the line goes into a vein in your arm or the back of your hand, the NAD+ IV runs, and the nurse stays with you for all of it rather than placing the line and leaving. The appointment runs 90 to 120 minutes from the nurse arriving to the nurse leaving. Most people take it on the sofa or in bed, reading or working. Every nurse carries an emergency kit: an epinephrine auto injector, a pulse oximeter, a blood pressure cuff and stethoscope, a charged phone and an anaphylaxis card.
4. Afterwards.
The nurse takes the line out, packs everything up and leaves with it. There is nothing to return and nothing to clean up. You pay after the appointment, and we accept HSA and FSA. Tips are never expected, and if you leave one it goes to your nurse.

Why a NAD+ Infusion Runs Slowly, and What That Feels Like
NAD+ has to be given slowly to stay comfortable. Run too fast it commonly produces chest tightness, flushing, a wave of nausea or abdominal cramping, and those sensations settle within a minute or two once the rate comes down. It is simply what happens when the drip runs faster than the person receiving it wants it to.
This is the reason your nurse stays for the entire 90 to 120 minutes rather than starting the line and leaving. The rate is adjusted to you, repeatedly, throughout the appointment. Niagen is nicotinamide riboside, a precursor the body converts into NAD+. The practical difference is time. A Niagen IV runs in 30 to 45 minutes. A NAD+ infusion at 125mg or more runs 90 to 120 minutes and has to run slowly to stay comfortable.
Clients who want the pathway without giving up an afternoon book Niagen, at $575 for 125mg or $288 for members. Clients who want NAD+ delivered directly, and who have the time, book this. Some people try both and settle on one.
If you want NAD+ in the bag without the long appointment, there is a third option: a NAD+ push added to any other drip, $99 for 25mg or $149 for 50mg, members pay half of each. It is a small dose next to a 250mg infusion and it is honest to say so, but it fits inside a normal 30 to 45 minute appointment.
How to Sit Through Two Hours Comfortably
Eat something beforehand. Not a large meal, but do not start a NAD+ infusion having skipped breakfast.
Drink water in the hours before. Pick the chair or sofa you actually like, not the one nearest the door. Have your laptop, a book or something to watch within reach, because the middle hour is genuinely uneventful and that is the point. Wear something with sleeves that move.
